Congratulations to one of our own, Galen Harris. Galen has been inducted into the OHSAA Hall of Fame. Galen is known throughout the area as an excellent official in the sports of Softball, Volleyball and Wrestling. Below are a listing of some of his accomplishments:

    • State Official 2003-04; 2004-05; 2006-07; 2007-08
  • Softball Official – 31 years – Active
    • Sectional Umpire 28 years
    • District Umpire 22 years
    • Regional Umpire 14 years
    • State Umpire 1996-97; 2002-03; 2006-07
  • Volleyball Official – 30 years – retired in 2010
    • Sectional Official 26 years
    • District Official 23 years
    • Regional Official 17 years
    • State Official 1996-97; 1998-99; 2002-03; 2004-05;2006-07
  • OHSAA Approved Officiating Instructor – Taught classes for new officials in all three sports
  • Recognized in 2001 by OHSAA for 25 years of Service in Wrestling
  • Recognized in 2005 by OHSAA for 25 years of Service in Volleyball
  • Recognized in 2007 by OHSAA for 25 years of Service in Softball
